Lacrosse is a type of sport that is popular in various parts of Europe, including France and England. It is also widely played in North America and Canada. The sport is played with small, hard balls and sticks referred to as crosse. These sticks have basket-like scoops on an end which will be used in catching and throwing the balls. The games shall begin with center face-offs. This is similar to soccer. Goalies will be the only players allowed to touch the balls with their hands. Even if the sport is considered the contact type, players may still commit some personal and technical fouls should they exhibit unusual roughness. Fouls may also be called for stick checking.

Because the sport has become so popular, many camps are now being organized for training enthusiasts. The challenge will not be on finding one camp but on joining a camp that is able to train you real good.

Instructors and trainers will surely have vast network of connections and they will be able to suggest which give the best training in the area. Some may even cater to providing training themselves, but of course, with a fee.

Training sessions organized by schools themselves are usually for free but most likely mandatory for players to attend.

It is important for players to ensure that they will be able to afford the necessary fees before deciding to join. They must also make inquiries as to the requirements for the training beforehand.
