C2 Rowing Machine Review

By Jessica Thomas

I was never extremely enthralled about the sport of indoor rowing until I got on a Concept 2 Indoor Rowing Machine. Like mast other forms of aerobic exercise equipment you see at a fitness center, I presumed an indoor rower would be dull and not provide any muscle-building advantages.

I was not right about that

What I came to know was that indoor rowers provide lots of different exercise routines. They keep users from getting bored, meaning they are more likely to continue their workout regimen. Whether you are attempting to lose weight or increase muscle or both, you will get results faster when you exercise regularly.

They are also very practical. I did not realize how light-weight and easy one of these machines was to relocate until I picked it up and moved it across the room. I could do it almost effortlessly with one hand. I was truly surprised. This element alone made me think it would be the ideal piece of home exercise gear. I could quickly move it from room to room then keep it out of view when I was not using it.

I also had no problems listening to songs or watching a good movie while exercising. I admit, occasionally I prefer a diversion or an escape while I am exercising. With a loud piece of exercise gear, you cannot hear music or watch a movie. In some cases this results in no workout.

When I used to run often, I would complete an exercise then have to incorporate a strength-building regimen for my upper body. With the Concept2 Indoor Rowing Machine, I don't have to do that. All major muscle groups get a strenuous workout on the machine, and in minimal time.

This provides me even more time to do other activities that I want to do. It likewise provides me much more motivation to workout on a rower, because I know it will get me more results sooner than other alternative workout routines.

As you can see, I am a huge fan of this rowing machine, but there is one more factor I wish to discuss. I enjoy exercising outdoors. Generally I don't prefer indoor workout classes or fitness centers. Nevertheless, because the C2 is so light-weight and easy to move around, I simply roll it outdoors and take advantage of working out in the sunshine. If this is an issue that you are thinking about, you do not have to be.

If you're considering investing in home workout equipment, like an indoor rower, try one out initially. Numerous gyms have them, or your local exercise equipment shop might let you test drive one. Then, you can shop online to find the best deal on the device you want.
