Tips In Making Homemade Soy Crisps

You should be able to create tasty recipes even when they are homemade. Homemade food taste better than commercial ones because they are filled with the maker's love. To those who are looking for homemade recipes, try the soy crisps. You will only need soybean powder, yeast, eggs, seasonings, sugar, milk, butter, and flour for this.

The first thing to do in making this food would be mixing yeast and milk. You need three-eights cups of the yeast and half a cup of the lukewarm milk. Mix the two ingredients together. After that, let the mix sit in for at least fifteen to twenty minutes. You will be using the mix together with the other ingredients later.

You will then have to mix sugar and milk. Prepare half cup milk and add it with sugar. You will have to prepare a small mixing bowl to mix these two together. You should then add your dash of seasonings. Salt and any other seasoning of your choosing should do. Add half cup soft butter and two eggs. Mix all these with a large spoon or whisk.

Get the soybean powder since this is the base of your recipe. In preparing this base ingredient, you should prepare the soybean powder by mixing it with the plain flour. You can do this using a large bowl. You will also need to use your hands when mixing these two ingredients should your hands must be cleaned and sanitized.

The mixture of milk and yeast should be added into the big bowl with the soybeans powder and flour mix. Add in the milk and sugar mixture in the smaller bowl into the large bowl. This will make a dough for you. Let the dough rise for about two hours. Put it in a covered and warm place for it to rise.

The cookie sheets will be used for cooking the dough you have created. There are preparation steps you have to take for the cookie sheets. You cannot use it as it is, after all. Take out the cooking oil you have in your cupboard and rub oil on the said sheets.

Once your two hours is up, the prepared dough should be ready for the next step. Take out your rolling pin since you have to roll your prepared dough with it until it becomes plain and flat. The flat dough is what you need to put into the cooking sheets. This is the final form before you put the dough into the oven.

Take out another bowl. In this bowl, you will have to beat one egg. With the use of your basting brush, you will have to dip it into the egg and then brush the dough with it. This is the final step you have to take before actually baking the dough. Do not overlook this step if you want a tasty crispies.

Place the dough with the final touches of brushed egg into your oven. The oven must be on medium heat to cook your dough at just the right temperature. Fifteen minutes should be enough to cook the dough. After fifteen minutes, take it from the oven and let it cool. Once cooled, break the crispies. You can then serve it after that.
